Jessica Thomas
Founder
Jessica Thomas is a real estate entrepreneur and public servant who specializes in strategies harmonizing processes, technology and people. In 2020, her passion for community development prompted her to start The Blackbury Organization, a non-profit geared towards closing the racial wealth gap in disenfranchised communities.
Prior to establishing her non-profit, Jessica spent 15+ years volunteering for local community organizations such as the Black Economic Justice Institute, Roxbury Main Streets, Boston Wealth Builders and Builders of Color Coalition. She currently works for the City of Boston as the Assistant Commissioner of Constituent Services.
Jessica is currently working on obtaining her Masters Degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Gender, Leadership and Public Policy (GLPP) from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She also obtained her Construction Management degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2019. Besides working on community based projects, Jessica travels all over the world attending and speaking at investment conferences in order to gain new inspiration and inspire others.
